On July 24, we hosted a screening of DIRTY COIN in Nashville that left a lasting impression. With over 500 attendees, the evening was a perfect blend of cinema and discussion, reflecting the enthusiasm and engagement of the Bitcoin community in town for the Bitcoin conference.
The night began with the audience settling in for the film, armed with popcorn and ready for an exploration of Bitcoin mining and its potential as a solution to global energy challenges. The response was overwhelmingly positive, culminating in a standing ovation at the end of the screening—a testament to the impact of the film and its relevance to current conversations about energy and data centers.
Following the film, a panel discussion provided an opportunity for deeper engagement. Chester Ney, Janet Maingi, Troy Cross, and I joined forces to delve into the themes of DIRTY COIN and discuss the broader implications of Bitcoin mining. The dialogue was both insightful and engaging, offering diverse perspectives on the film's subject matter and the future of Bitcoin.
This event was made possible thanks to our ticket buyers and generous sponsors: Bitcoin Mining World, TGFB, and Bitfarms. Their support was instrumental in bringing this screening and discussion to life, and we are grateful for their commitment to advancing the conversation in the Bitcoin space.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the success of the evening. Your enthusiasm and participation were key to making this a memorable event. We look forward to sharing more updates and future screenings as DIRTY COIN continues its journey.
